Are your makeup brushes in your drawer mixed up with your hair ties, makeup and getting misshapen? Do you need a way to store your makeup brushes that looks awesome, but is economical? Try using dried beans. You can use small white, black beans or small reds. I bought a square vase from Michaels, but you can go to a thrift store and get a vase even cheaper that you can repurpose. I added small white beans and stuck my makeup brushes in the vase. I think it looks clean and interesting. If you have granite countertops I think the black beans would look great!

I have also used this idea for holders for cake pops. Some time ago we had a baseball themed baby shower for my nephew and his wife for their first child. My family is lifelong SF Giants fans so we used a Giants theme. I had asked a friend to make her wonderful cake pops that look like baseballs. I wanted a cute way to display them and found a vase and put dried garbanzos in as holders. They worked great!

You can also use a container and dried baby limas to hold pens.

Paintbrushes can also be stored this way. The ideas are limitless, just use your
